10th ANNUAL HIKE FOR HOPE - Support Women's Cancer Research at City of Hope.
10 Years, Thousand of Steps.... Hundreds of Lives
Come join The Desert Women's Council for its 10th ANNUAL HIKE FOR HOPE on Sunday, March 2 and support women's cancer research at City of Hope.

HIKE FOR HOPE 2008 will again be held in the beautiful Indian Canyons in Palm Springs, courtesy of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. Guides from the Coachella Valley Hiking Club supported by Palm Springs Mounted Police Search and Rescue will lead participants on hikes ranging from very easy to strenuous. There will be 10 different trails from which to choose a hike for everyone!
There is a $40 pre-registration fee before February 25 or $45 after that date which includes entrance to the Indian Canyons, a tee shirt, snacks, prize eligibility, and more! Hikers are encouraged to raise additional funds by acquiring sponsors through pledges and corporate matching funds or by forming a team.

City of Hope is the closest National Cancer Institute designated Comprehensive Cancer Center to the Coachella Valley. Only 39 hospitals in the country carry that designation.
More than 90% of *** cancer patients survive when cancer is detected in early stages.
HIKE FOR HOPE provides a forum to distribute important information on early detection and raises money to fund a cure.
